Flirt - Aurora Blvd. Cubao, Quezon City

After the long break from the beer garden scene, the Beerhaus Boys are back with a vengeance. We were planning to look for a cozy and cheap bar in Makati but our plans were suddenly changed and we ended up in a old and delapidated beerhouse in Cubao.

After a long and tiring trek to Quezon City, we were suddenly driving along Aurora Blvd. We saw this beerhouse with a lot of cars outside, Flirt was its name and it looks that it has a lot of customers with nice rides. We parked and went on with our adventure. When we entered the premises we were greeted with an oddly site, it is like going inside a time machine and we were zoomed back to the 70s like in the Tony Ferrer movies.

This is the first time we saw that this club has 2 floors with a dance floor each. So we sat on the second floor and we could immediately smell the pungent odor of the restroom miles away. This bar hasn't been well maintained by its management. We just ordered 2 rounds of the trusty San Mig Light and never even looked at the girls.

D' Boss (Pasay Road)

We have been working around the Makati area for over 11 years now and it just recently got to us the wonders of Pasay Road.... After 20 mins of strolling around looking for the perfect beer garden to check out, we chanced upon a small beer house near the ol' Kamayan restaurant in Pasay Road.

D' Boss has always caught our eye everytime we passby that road going home from our office, but we never attempted to go in that place until last Friday. We got there around 1am and there are a lot of cars parked outside. Once inside you will get a feeling that you are in a small warehouse with ample airconditioning and with small tables. A waiter greeted us and pointed out to the table right in front of the stage. The first order of beer is at a mandatory of two bottles, we ordered four bottles of our fave San Mig Light. We can't help notice that this place is pretty jampacked and a lot of girls to entertain your fancy. Also, there are five VIP rooms available if you want some privacy.

We did not try to get a GRO since we just want to check the place out ourselves first. Maybe next time.

How we got this started...

Well it all started out one Friday evening June 8, 2007. My wife was in Cebu and I was all alone in the house, called up my best friend around 10pm to look for some action in the Metro. We ended up in his condo thinking of where to go and after some delibiration we decided to stroll around Makati in his car. Finally, we parked in Pasay Road and entered a beer house. It was in our conversation (boredom) that we decided to start a blog where we will visit bars, beer gardens and other joints and make our reviews.

Hope this will be a start of something big....
